We are looking for a Localization Specialist (Brazilian Portuguese) who will be responsible for ensuring high-quality localization of our video content, subtitles, and dubbing projects. You will play a key role in refining translations, enhancing cultural adaptation, and maintaining quality standards for our Brazilian audience.

Key Focus Areas:

Localization and Quality Control:

Conduct thorough quality control of dubbing and translations (grammar, pronunciation, cultural adaptation, lip-sync, and performance accuracy);

Provide constructive feedback on recorded materials to ensure exceptional audio and linguistic quality;

Translate and localize titles, descriptions, and other textual content for Brazilian Portuguese-speaking audiences;

Edit subtitles (fix synchronization, grammar, punctuation, and other linguistic issues).

Expansion of Localization Efforts:

Act as a cultural and linguistic consultant for our Brazilian market.

Support in collaboration with new partners to expand our reach in Brazilian localization.

Provide insights into Brazilian audience preferences and industry trends.

Communication:

Work closely with internal teams, dubbing professionals, and external localization experts.

This Role is for You If:

You have native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese with strong grammar, syntax, and vocabulary skills.
You have a minimum B2+ level of English for effective communication.
You have experience in localization, including subtitling, dubbing, or video game localization.
You can adapt content for cultural relevance, ensuring the dialogue resonates with the Brazilian audience.
You are proficient in working with SRT editors, CRM systems, and Google Sheets.
You have a background in translation, localization, and quality control processes.
You are familiar with the Brazilian film and entertainment industry.
Experience in dubbing production (as a sound engineer or actor) will be an added advantage.
